Live and work in Montréal, Québec

I am actually pursuing a Ph.D. in Arts Studies and Practices at Université du Québec à Montréal. I was involved in various solo and group exhibitions, my work has been presented in different alternative spaces and artist-run centers in Québec. I am also working as an art teacher at college level and I recently became a member of the board of directors at AXENÉO 7, an artist run center in Gatineau, Québec. (axeneo7.qc.ca)

My actual research concerned the relationship between post-conceptual art and institutional critique and the relevance of these approaches today, through a new interface, the indoor office plants.

Office indoor plants evoke a form of natural residues in a workspace and are often used to domesticate institutional spaces . By focusing my research on the subject of the indoor plant, I want to explore the strange form of utopianism that exists within corporate and institutional environments, but I would also like to explore an alternative ‘naturalist’ dimension that might exist in contemporary forms of institutional critique as conceived by someone of my generation.
